Butterhanne very recommendable, we were there last year and dined very well! We visited their wonderful Christmas market and would like to visit the beautiful city of Goslar again! We are happy to come, unfortunately we have no information about overnight offers in your beautiful city! Who can we turn to? Have a good time and stay healthy

I have been to this restaurant already 4 or 5 occasions. The food has always been very tasty, with a great variety and excellent desserts. I think this restaurant ia a Must in Goslar. I don't give a 5 star because twice we were received and partially attended by a very unfriendly female waiter (the same person). I think the managers and owners of the restaurant should really put attention on this, this person should not be in contact with clients ever. All the other waiters have been really nice and helpful and of course we gave a tip always.

This is a very good place to have a nice meal. We liked it very much. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat dessert anymore because we were simply too full. Despite the crowded place, the service was very friendly and careful. We'll definitely be back on our next vacation in Goslar. Get through the lockdown safely.

We are excited. This ancient restaurant is located in the heart of Goslar. Without a reservation, we were lucky to get the last table. Great atmosphere and very personable service. Last but not least, the food was great. At very good prices. We will definitely be back when we return to beautiful Goslar.

Very busy and quite overwhelmed. But the food is delicious, great schnitzel. Everything is disinfected nicely and properly. Only 5 stars from the food.

The place is very nice, cozy and somewhat exclusive despite the fact that it is large and there are many tables, the service is fast and very friendly. The food at a good price in relation to the quality totally recommended

The greeting was ... where was it? There was none! We were carelessly placed on the table without a pen. The subsequent taking of our order was also cold and felt forced. Unfortunately, the very good tasting food came before the drinks. But also without cutlery. That came just before the drinks. Those, in turn, were not complete. The staff noticed this mistake themselves, but unfortunately the rest came without ice cubes and lemons. Towards the end, the service became more attentive and even a little friendlier. Unfortunately, that didn't make up for the first, second and third impressions. Tips would have been undeserved and so it was not here. Apart from the food, I would not recommend this place and it will probably not be repeated.

There were only problems with the reservation and the pre-order. The ladies in the service didn't manage to make up for that. The highlight was for dinner. We were so unfriendly at the front desk, specific statements about waiting times. It even went so far that I, as a customer, didn't feel like a king but like a whipping boy. Unfortunately, the team cannot cope with stress. Unfortunately such a nice quaint restaurant, a shame.

Nice atmosphere, nice service and good food at fair prices. Especially the daily offers (e.g. Schnitzel on Thursdays for € 8.90) are unbeatable in price / performance. The more unusual variants, such as the Harz blueberry schnitzel with ribbon noodles, are very refreshing. If we weren't just here on vacation, we would certainly come by more often.

Service top and very hard! The food was so-so, certainly not freshly cooked and, due to the crowd, certain convenience. Okay to get full, but you can't expect culinary effusions.

Very good German cuisine. Really good game. Long ago that I had such a good deer. The desserts are delicious. For the price, that amount. You can get full with just one cream puff. Nice quaint ambience. Friendly staff and, as I said, cheap with top quality. When I'm back in Goslar, I'll be back here.

September 15, 2020. First we had a coffee here and after a stroll through the historic city center we also had lunch. Food was very good and the service friendly. He also had his hands full and had to walk even more, as the outside lighting was very large. Hats off and thank you very much.

Classic inn in Goslar. The service was very attentive and the dishes were tasty. Currywurst was a bit small and a little more ketchup would have been nice. Overall, however, we were satisfied. Prices were reasonable.

Hello, We were in Goslar for 5 days and feasted in the butter pan alone on 3 evenings, not because there was a lack of alternatives, but because there was a very good and tasty selection from currywurst to venison, and the friendly and fast service , as well as the quite affordable prices should not go unmentioned. We definitely recommend it.

Nice, friendly, hard-working and quick service in a cozy location. Really delicious food and all together within 30 minutes, despite a full house, what more could you want. Definitely gladly again????

The service staff is friendly and has a quick quote for every situation. The drinks are brought quickly. With the food you can tell that the cook likes to be behind the stove. Price-performance ratio is right. We'd love to come back ?

Very "german" feeling restaurant. Loved the atmosphere and the food was very good. Nice and wide assortment of beer and beverages, with good descriptions of taste and etc. Will definitely visit again.

The best place we have found to eat in Goslar. They have a wide menu of German and international food, a fantastic outside seating area (cafe culture) and just the best beer (the Gose Gold). Highly recommended

Its a huge place to dine in. luckily got place to sit once as it was always full during our 3 days stay in the town. Menu is quiet big to choose from, drawback is just one good vegetarian option apart from some salad. so if you want try normal flammkuchen being vegetarian i suggest try some other better restaurants. for meat eaters there are good number of options. service is quick and polite. food taste ok ambience nice i would give 3.5 stars.

We where pleasantly surprised when our steak we ordered, came out perfectly cooked, and super tender. Add that to friendly staff and very fair prices, and you got a winner. I would definitely visit again

Really big difference between dishes. I have been served the worse spareribs ever. But the others same order was OK. Mine were only bone and almost no meat. The little meat it was on the bones it was overcooked. (black). Cannot recommend the place.

My pork branmeistersteak sauce is tooooo salty 2/10. Too much salt. . The fish is fine, however if you eat the skin. I think it's too much salt as well. Place is nice and warm. Service at s good. Applestrudel is good. Not so sweet. The ice cream still have room to improve.

Quite a big restaurant at the Marktplatz of Goslar. We were here on 24.12, a day when most of the shops and restaurants were closed. It was possible to book a table and we did so, and it was also not a problem when we turned up one hour early because we got too cold walking around outside. The beers on tap are distinctive and interesting, with two cloudy Weizen-like, somewhat sweet light and dark beers, plus a clear amber/brown and more bitter Barbarosa beer. We tried the roast deer, pork neck steak, grilled pork knuckle, and roast beef in onion. All were very good, with the neck steak particularly outstanding. Service was attentive and very fast, as well as very friendly. Great place!
